The best place for questions like this is the online periodic table on the web at Sheffield University in England- click on element #28, Ni (Nickel) to find everything you ever wanted to know about nickel.

The answer is 28 electrons, 28 protons, and 30 or 32 Neutrons. Most nickel atoms have 30 Neutrons, but some have 32, 33, or 34. The ones with more are called isotopes.
