What is Ultraviolet Colorimetry Analysis? It involves passing UV light through a object and analyzing what comes out the other side.

According to the Encyclopedia Britannica online, "Colorimetry is the measurement of the wavelength and the intensity of electromagnetic radiation in the visible region of the spectrum. It is used extensively for identification and determination of concentrations of substances that absorb light."
