I'm not sure about meteorologists exactly, but for careers in the physical sciences which includes meteorology, geology, astronomers, physicists, chemists, geochemists, metalurgists, geophysicists, soil scientists, and materials scientists, women make up 29% of the workforce, which is up significantly from ten years ago.
