A:
If you found this answer useful, please considerHenna is a plant (Lawsonia inermis) and contains no aluminum. The plant itself is ground up to make the dye. Henna dye sometimes comes preformulated in aluminum tubes or packets in the same way that some toothpaste comes in aluminum tubes, or pop comes in aluminum cans. If aluminum is used in the formulation, it should be clearly stated on the list of ingredients of the product you purchase.
