Chemistry Question #2684

Barbara Berghoff, a 40 year old female from Illinois/usa asks on March 30, 2005,

I need to know what dissipates into the air during a salt analysis titration. I do this at work without a hood and I am wondering what I am breathing. The company’s MSDS sheets show nothing about chemical reactions. The test uses - Silver Nitrate (0.2N), Ferric Alum Indicator, Nitric Acid and Potassium Thiocyanate Solution (0.1N). If you can't get the answer, do you know other resources where I can get information?
