Academic Physics sells software for this called EMField. You can find out about it at the following URL: http://www.physics.umd.edu/rgroups/ripe/software/emfield.html. You might also be interested in seeing some animated magnetic field patterns developed by Prof. Belcher of MIT, which are on http://web.mit.edu/jbelcher/www/anim.html.
