The Story

Jess Brewer is a physicist at the University of British Columbia who works at the cyclotron nuclear facility called TRIUMF there. He is an expert on muon science as well as the practical aspects of muon beam technology. He won the 2008 Canadian Association of Physicists Brockhouse Medal in recognition of his pioneering work to develop muon spin relaxation and related techniques, leading to the creation of an important new field in materials physics.

question #350

What are the quantum numbers that are involved in the distinction between matter and antimatter? I know that a particle and anti-particle must have the same mass (or no mass) and opposite charge (or neutral) and I think opposite spin. What other quantum numbers are involved?
