Engineering Question #2495

Paul Paura, a 30 year old male from Mississauga asks on January 18, 2005,

how will Hydrogen work as an Assist Gas for Diesel Trucks (Transportation Industry). After doing much research over the last 12 months, I found that not all H2 producing units are effective on Transport truck engines. Either some have results immediately or no results at all. A few questions: r Do you have any experience in this arena of diesel truck engines? r If so, what are your results? r Do you need to modify the EMU (engine management unit = engine computer) on the diesel engines? r IF so, how would you modify the EMU? r Are the no results do to “waste gate technology” on certain engines? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Kindest regards, Paul Paura 905 929 3122 www.hy-drive.com
