I did make the distinction between primary and secondary organization back in 1968, but it did not become sufficiently important to be of any relevance today. In that sense the distinction, and the two terms, can be safely ignored.

Chunking would be classified as secondary (subject-imposed) form of organization, but again, given that the concept of secondary organization is in limbo, the tie between does not matter.
