The Story

Bruton has done extensive research in the field of real-time analog and digital signal processing. His research interests include multidimensional signal processing, sub band filtering of images, and image and audio compression. One of the most common uses of Bruton filters is in the touch-tone telephone. He is Coordinator of the Calgary Centre of the Canadian MICRONET Network of Centres of Excellence.
