Charles Beer Organic Chemistry

Co-discoverer of vinblastine (from the Madagascar periwinkle plant) with Robert Noble at the University of Western Ontario in 1958. Vinblastine is a major chemotherapy drug used to treat cancers such as Hodgkin's disease, testicular and breast cancers.
